This year, SYS-CON is hosting their 19th international Cloud Expo. The Cloud Expo gathers people across the world annually to celebrate the technological advancements of cloud computing. Cloud computing is the process of storing and accessing files digitally through the Internet. Recent studies have confirmed that 74% of enterprises have implemented a hybrid cloud strategy. This Expo will feature sessions that discuss specific topics including cloud computing, digital transformation, and microservices. 

This expo will feature experienced speakers from major sponsors that include Cisco, IBM, Venafi, and Metavine. RJ Mahadev is the manager of Cisco’s Global Manufacturing Services business and he has a Master’s degree in Business Administration in Marketing and Finance. Animesh Singh is IBM’s Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Lead as well as an STSM (Senior Technical Staff Member). Singh’s partnership with IBM has lasted for over 10 years and he now helps customers design cloud computing solutions on OpenStack. Jim Richards is Venafi’s Senior Systems Engineer, and he has over 16 years of experience in the technology industry. Craig Sproule is Metavine’s CEO and founder. I highly recommend going to this year’s Cloud Expo. This is an educational event that will help you become more tech savvy. This year, the Cloud Expo will be held in Santa Clara and New York City. From November 1-3, 2016, the Expo will take place at California’s Santa Clara Convention Center. From June 6-8, 2017, the Expo will take place at New York’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
